Skin imperfections such as wrinkles, blemishes, and fine lines can cause embarrassment and worsen the signs of aging. Soft tissue fillers such as Restylane and Juvederm can help fill in lines and creases, temporarily restoring a youthful-looking appearance. Fillers are injected beneath the skin to add volume to sunken and creased areas. Many patients also choose filler as a treatment to add fullness to the lips and cheeks.
Our skin is naturally prone to aging, usually due to sun exposure, gravity, and years of facial movements such as chewing, smiling, and squinting. The underlying skin tissues that keep us looking youthful and plumped up often break down, leading to smile lines, laugh lines, crow’s feet, and facial creases where most muscle movement occurs. Your Scottsdale and Gilbert, AZ plastic surgeon uses fillers to correct imperfections and give patients a smooth, wrinkle-free facial appearance.
Many patients in Gilbert, Scottsdale, and Phoenix prefer injectable facial fillers such as Juvederm and Radiesse to achieve their cosmetic goals.
IDEAL CANDIDATES FOR DERMAL FILLERS
You may be an ideal candidate for facial rejuvenation with injectable fillers if you:

DURING/AFTER TREATMENT
Fillers are typically injected into the skin with fine needles. A numbing cream may be administered to increase your comfort during the procedure. Treatment may take up to 30 minutes, and it’s common for patients to experience minor pain from the initial prick. Most patients are able to return to work and social activities several hours after the rejuvenation procedure. While some swelling and discoloration may manifest as a side effect, this goes away after a couple of days.
Plan your PROCEDURE
Injectable fillers cost varies depending on the extent of the treatment, type of filler, and the number of syringes being used. Insurance typically does not cover the cost of cosmetic procedures. In some rare cases, where the treatment is provided to treat indentation or scars resulting from injury or accidents, costs may be reimbursed.
Dr. Jude LaBarbera provides facial fillers treatment at his office, supported by highly professional and licensed staff. Most of his patients are from Scottsdale, Gilbert, and the surrounding Arizona areas.
